The X-ray protective hooded face shield is made of the newest imported lead glass. The clear panoramic design allows good peripheral vision while protecting the entire face and eyes from scatter radiation.
A standard face shield is different from a hooded face shield in that it doesn't has a lead cap and only has a nylon headpiece with an adjustable gluing closure.
Compared to a standard face shield, a full-face shield provides protection for a larger area.
